Strategy Presets Explained
Each preset is a distinct trading personality with its own entry logic, risk profile, and market conditions where it performs best. Here's every strategy in detail.
Adaptive Alpha
6x maxVWAP mean-reversion
Fades ±3σ deviations from the rolling VWAP. Longs are gated by a bull-regime EMA filter; shorts fire in any regime. Exits on VWAP return, time stop, or ATR disaster stop. Walk-forward-locked DNA (p=0.002 at 5m). Strongest at 5m and 15m per the cadence matrix; at longer cadences the optimizer tunes per cell. User-selectable cadence: 5m, 15m, 30m (default), 1h, or 2h.
First-time users who want a well-rounded, thoroughly tested strategy.
Aggressive Growth
8x maxDonchian breakout
Donchian channel breakout with ADX trend-strength gating. Looser conviction gates and higher leverage than Adaptive Alpha. More trades, larger drawdowns tolerated in exchange for outsized moves. Default cadence 60m; user can select 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, or 2h.
Experienced users comfortable with larger drawdowns and 8x leverage.
Range Sniper
3x maxBollinger mean-reversion
Bollinger band mean reversion, active only when ADX confirms a choppy, range-bound market. Fades z-score extensions, targets return to the mean, stops at 1.5× ATR. Sits flat when trends develop. Cadence is restricted to 1h or 2h only. It cannot run at faster cadences.
Users who want lower risk and are patient during trending markets (bot will sit idle).
Ensemble
3x maxLiquidation-cascade reversal
After a 1-hour move ≥ 1.7% on BTC perps, waits for an exhaustion bar (range collapses) and fades toward a 30% retracement. Event-driven and highly selective. Roughly 20 trades over 6 months, ~75% win rate. Validated by walk-forward and permutation test. Default cadence 5m; user-selectable.
Users who want very selective, event-driven trading with high conviction per trade.
Chameleon
6x max9-engine consensus · 30m locked
Runs nine engines in parallel every 30-minute epoch: Alpha (VWAP mean-reversion), Aggressive (Donchian breakout), Ensemble (liquidation-cascade reversal), Axis (RSI-regime), Pulse (dual-pathway HMA cross), Zen (vol-adaptive Hull), Moon (short-only specialist, only votes short or flat), Sun (long-only specialist, only votes long or flat), and Compass (multi-signal trend voter). Each engine evaluates independently using its own optimizer-tuned DNA. A position opens only when ≥2 engines agree on the same direction. A position closes only when ≥2 engines vote against the current direction, creating an "easy to hold, hard to close" asymmetry. Range Sniper is permanently excluded (it only operates at 1h+ cadences). The five non-optimizer engines (Pulse, Zen, Moon, Sun, Compass) run with independently validated DNA tuned for 30m data.
Users who want the highest-confidence signals through multi-engine consensus. Fewer trades, but each one has broad agreement behind it.
Hummingbird
6x max9-engine consensus · 5m locked
Same nine-engine consensus architecture as Chameleon but locked to a 5-minute cadence. All nine engines vote every 5 minutes using a 1-day optimizer window. Opens only when ≥2 agree; closes only when ≥2 vote against the current direction. The faster cadence makes it more responsive to short-term moves and more active than Chameleon, but the same asymmetric consensus rules apply.
Users who want the consensus model with faster, more reactive 5-minute execution.
Inferno
3x maxSOL multi-timeframe trend · 5m locked
SOL-only. Waits for three timeframes (30m, 1h, 2h) to agree before entering on a 5-minute bar. Adaptive take-profit and stop-loss scale with current volatility (1.485× ATR / 1.21× ATR). Winners get pyramided in two stages (+0.5× ATR / +1.0× ATR triggers). Win-streak compounding ramps sizing from 1.0× to 2.5×. Loss-streak breaker pauses after 2 consecutive losses for 36 bars. Best-hour boost at UTC 0/1/16/17. Cadence and leverage are locked. The DNA was externally validated only at these parameters.
SOL specialists who want a patient, multi-timeframe trend strategy with built-in risk controls.
Ludicrous
50x max4-tier regime-routed SOL · 5m locked
SOL-only. Classifies bull, bear, and sideways regimes using triple moving averages, then deploys the matching tier at 10–50× leverage. Sits idle during sideways markets (~48% of the time). Adaptive sizing halves after 3 losses; full halt after 5 consecutive losses. One position at a time. 95× backtested return with 0.1% bootstrap liquidation rate. Cadence (5m), leverage (50x), and all parameters are fully locked. Extremely high risk. Leverage this extreme means a 2% adverse move can liquidate the entire position.
Experienced traders who fully understand that 50x leverage means a 2% adverse move can liquidate everything. Not for beginners.
How the consensus engines work
Chameleon and Hummingbird run the same nine engines with the same consensus rules — only the cadence differs (30m vs 5m). The consensus rule is intentionally asymmetric:
To open a position
≥2 engines must agree on the same direction (long or short). If only one engine signals, nothing happens.
To close a position
≥2 engines must vote against the current direction (flat or opposite). This creates "easy to hold, hard to close." Positions are patient by design.

Which strategy should I pick?
First-timer? Start with Adaptive Alpha at 3–4x leverage. It's the most tested, works across multiple market regimes, and has a good balance of risk and activity.
Want less risk? Range Sniper at 3x only trades in choppy markets. It'll sit idle during trends, which means fewer trades but lower exposure to trend reversals.
Want highest conviction? Chameleon runs 9 engines voting together every 30 minutes. Fewer trades, but each one has broad multi-engine agreement.
Want fast consensus? Hummingbird is the same 9-engine architecture at 5-minute speed. More reactive, more active.
SOL specialist? Inferno is built specifically for SOL with multi-timeframe alignment and volatility-adaptive exits at 3x.
High-risk, high-reward? Ludicrous trades SOL at up to 50x leverage with regime routing. Only for users who fully understand extreme leverage risk.
Create separate vaults for different strategies to diversify. Many users run an Adaptive Alpha vault alongside a Chameleon vault. One for single-engine speed, one for consensus confidence. Each vault is independent with its own balance and settings.
At 50x leverage, a 2% adverse price move liquidates your entire position. Ludicrous has a 0.1% bootstrap liquidation rate in backtests, but live conditions differ significantly. Only deploy capital you are fully prepared to lose.
