Get USDC on Solana
Your Amyth vault uses USDC as collateral, a stablecoin where 1 USDC = $1. You also need a tiny bit of SOL (about $0.50) for transaction fees. Here are three ways to get funded.
$50+ USDC
Minimum vault deposit
~$0.50 of SOL
For network transaction fees
Path A: Buy on an exchange, send to your wallet
Recommended · lowest fees
Buy USDC on Coinbase, Kraken, or Binance
Sign up for a centralized exchange if you don't have one. Buy USDC (the Solana version if the exchange asks which network). Also buy a small amount of SOL for fees.
Copy your wallet address
Open your wallet app, tap your wallet address at the top (the long string of characters), and copy it. This is the address you'll send USDC to.
Withdraw USDC to your wallet address
On the exchange, go to Withdraw → select USDC → paste your wallet address → choose the Solana network. Double-check the address. Send.
Wait ~30 seconds
Solana transactions are fast. Your USDC should appear in your wallet within about 30 seconds. If using Coinbase, the first withdrawal may take a few minutes due to their security hold.
When withdrawing from an exchange, you must select the Solana network. If you send USDC on Ethereum, Polygon, or any other network, it will go to a different address and your funds will be lost. This is the most common mistake new users make.
Path B: Buy directly in your wallet
Simplest · slightly higher fees
Most Solana wallets have a built-in "Buy" button that lets you purchase SOL or USDC directly with a credit/debit card or Apple Pay via MoonPay or Stripe. The process is straightforward: tap Buy, enter an amount, complete the payment. Fees are typically 1–3% higher than buying on an exchange, but it's the fastest path if you want to skip the exchange step entirely.
Path C: Bridge from another chain
For existing crypto users
If you already have USDC on Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, or another chain, you can bridge it to Solana using Portal Bridge or Allbridge. Connect your source wallet, select USDC, choose Solana as the destination, and send. Bridge times vary from 1–15 minutes depending on the source chain.
Whichever path you choose, make sure you also have a small amount of SOL in your wallet (about $0.50–$1.00 worth). Solana transactions cost fractions of a cent each, but you need some SOL to pay for them. Most exchanges let you buy and send SOL the same way as USDC.
